The new sony Names Studio Park After John Calley

CULVER CITY, CA October 19, 2011 The new sony Pictures Entertainment today revealed the naming of John Calley Park in recognition from the late, former Chairman from the studio it had been introduced by chairman and chief executive officer Michael Lynton and co-chairman Amy Pascal in a dedication ceremony attended by studio employees. The recently-named park is situated in the heart of the galleries historic 44 acre lot and works as a central gathering place for workers and site visitors. Speaking at the dedication, Pascal stated: John arrived like a steadying center of gravity for that studio. He gave most of us what we should required to come together like a company as well as gave us an infusion of existence along with a sense of togetherness the studio was without before. When Michael and that i considered building this park, we wanted that it is a gathering spot for everyone. When John died, it appeared an ideal title to refer to it as. Lynton added: Many of us are best because of Johns years about this lot, and also the world is best because of the wonderful entertainment he left in his considerable wake. It's with great recognition that people dedicate this park to John Calley.
